Technical
Art File Format Requirements
We will help you customize your signage in the most attractive, cost-effective and time-efficient manner possible. To get started, email or fax us as much of the following information about your design job as possible: dimensions, quantities, choice of material, whether the work is one- or two-sided, intended for indoor or outdoor use, and whether you are providing a logo. We can help you match an existing design, or design a completely new one. If you don't have all these specifications, don't sweat it; we'll help you figure out what you need.
We use two main file types for sign production:
For vinyl cutting:
Vector file (.AI, .EPS OR .PDF) with all fonts created to outlines.
For digital printing:
Raster file (.JPG or .TIF) or vector file (.AI, .EPS OR .PDF) with all fonts created to outlines.
For full bleeds in digital prints, please provide at least ¼" bleeds. For full bleeds in digital banners, please provide at least ½" bleeds. For banner layouts, please account for 2" hems and pole pockets, if applicable.
If using Quark or Indesign, export to .EPS or .PDF with all fonts created to outlines. Please do not send Quark or Indesign files.
Art set-up and design by our talented Art Department is also available. Call us with any questions, or email us at
